The above picture is the most powerful image of human suffering which excited the social media for some time and then we all got engaged with our lives. When tears became unstoppable fluids, it then considered as normal and goes unnoticed.
I thank President Donald Trump suspending admission of refugees which reminded the remaining world that refugees does exists and a war against humanity is going around the corner, for some in their neighborhoods.
As per U.N. report there are more than 13.5 million refugees of Syrian Civil war and most of them are women and children. The 5 countries which border Syria (Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey) have closed their borders for Syrian refugees. Gulf countries including Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain have offered ZERO resettlement places to Syrian refugees. Other developed countries including Russia, Singapore, and South Korea have also offered ZERO resettlement places. Only Germany has shown the courage to take the maximum refugee among all EU countries.
If no neighbor is helping the Syrian refugees then why there is so much debate when United States which is so far away from the Syria denies the resettlement of refugees.
It seems that “Age of Downfall or Dark Age of Kaliyug” has begun where trouble maker becomes leader; liars are seated with honor at the top of the table and tyrants are accepted and approved.
Women and children are living in the edge of life, fear of death has long gone but the horror to survive has become painful.
Pain & suffering is like disease if not prevented at right stage it will become epidemic. If we close our doors and think that we are safe and don’t want any unwelcome guest then we are wrong. Let this may not be the grave stone of humanity.
We would request all the world community to come together and find a way to solve Syrian problem rather than dropping bombs and supporting some political parties. We need to be more sensitive towards the pain of women and children who are suffering without being the part of any conflicts.
